FREEDMAN, JESS: On Wednesday, December 9, 2015; Beloved husband of the late Reda Wolfe Freedman. Beloved father of Jeffery (Norman Hochendoner) Freedman, Detra (Roger) Pivirotto and Brett Freedman. Brother of the late Ida Bazer and Nathan Freedman. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Mr. Freedman was owner of BCR Catering at Melwood Hall in the North Hills for over forty years. He valued his longtime employees, Bonnie Wiser, Art and Sharon Rectenwald for their continued friendship even after his retirement. In his later years, he was an avid volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Pitcairn and enjoyed the company of fellow volunteers. Friends may meet at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., Shadyside, on Friday at 12 Noon and then proceed to Cneseth Israel Cemetery for 1 PM Graveside Services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels-Pitcairn, 725 Wall Avenue, Pitcairn, PA 15140. www.schugar.com
