WEINSWEIG, SHIRLEY TISHERMAN: On Thursday, February 11, 2016; Beloved wife of the Late Burnet Harold Weinsweig. Loving mother of Craig (Leslie) Weinsweig of Clarksville, MD, Marc (Tamar) Weinsweig of Rockville, MD,  and Tammi (late David) Weinsweig of Proctorville, OH. Daughter of the late Ralph and Clara Tisherman.  Special Bubbe to  Zoie, Noah, Annabella, Hannah, Max, Daniela, Raphaela, Nesya, Aaren, and Kyle.  Also survived by best friends Elayne Saltzman, Annalee Firman and her beloved aunt, Rose Stone, as well as her many friends at Beacon Place.  Services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Visitation one hour prior to services (12:30 PM to 1:30 PM).  Interment Poale Zedeck Memorial Park Cemetery. I have worked with Shirley for many many years. She was a wonderful thoughtful lady who will be terribly missed.She was always interested in how everyone in your family was doing no matter what was going on in her life. What a kind lady she was! Even volunteered to watch my dog for me when I had no one else to turn to!!! I will miss her.

To Shirley's loving family and many friends, We are so sorry for your loss. Shirley was a special person that will definitely be missed. We were honored to have her as a friend and coworker and will cherish the times spent with her and talking with her on the phone. Her concern was always for the other person. She only wished the best for everyone. What a huge heart made of solid gold.
