KLEIN, DR. SANFORD M.: On Thursday, May 12, 2016; Beloved father of Kathy Klein (David Paul) of Wilmington, DE, Jon Klein (Lisa Cheney) of Boise, ID and Michael Klein (Elizabeth Stadtlander) of Pittsburgh. Son of the late David and Ethel Klein and Lewis Harvey. Brother of the late Robert Klein and his identical twin Harvey Klein, MD. Grandfather of Jesse and Emma Paul and Connor Klein. Sanford was a graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School, Washington and Jefferson College and Pitt Medical School. After graduation, while serving in the Air Force, he was employed as a flight doctor. He then went on to practice medicine as a anesthesiologist at McKeesport Hospital for nearly 30 years. He was active in contributing to St. Jude Hospital and the United Jewish Federation. A humble man with a generous heart and mind, he will be remembered for his compassion and willingness to help others. Services and Interment PRIVATE.
