Loving mother of Linda E. and Michael Schultz of Springfield, VA, Nancy Gaddy and David Moscovitz of Atlanta, GA, Cary E. and Laura Friedman of Trumbull, CT. Sister of the late Isadore "Sonny" Soodek, Hannah Solow, Ben Soodik and Naomi Sondheimer. Grandmother of Alexandra Friedman and Paul Wagner, Jacqueline Friedman and Evan Stein and Jason Friedman and survived by several nieces and nephews. Sylvia was a public health nurse with Allegheny County for 25 years. Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11 AM at Beth Shalom Cemetery.
