SWARTZ, MYRON "MIKE": On Thursday, November 17, 2016; Beloved husband of Laurel Swartz. Loving father Holly Swartz (Steve Abo), Susie (Gregg) Perelman and Peter (Joan) Swartz. Loving step-father of Julie (Jason) Lichtenstein and Peter Burstin. Cherished brother of Barbara (Ralph) Fisher and Michele (Ian) Kleier. "Papa" of Sara, Danielle and Emma Perelman, Sophie and Eli Abo, Jacob, Dylan & Owen Lichtenstein and Rachel and Jared Swartz. Mike was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in accounting. He ran a successful retail business for many years in the tri-state area. He was also an accomplished scratch golfer and a life master bridge player, a designation he achieved at a young age. His passion for food and wine also led him the become President of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs for 15 years.   Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Monday at 1 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services (12 - 1 PM). Interment Homewood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Joseph A. Condolences

Dear Mrs. Swartz, Mike and I worked on some projects about 20 years ago. I then got a job in the Design Center and he and I chatted sometimes in his office. He was a true gentleman and a great guy, who I had great respect for. I have not seen him in a long time, but I won't forget him.
