MENDELSON, EMILY S.: On Thursday, November 24, 2016; Beloved wife of the late Leonard Mendelson. Loving and devoted mother of Ann (Greg) Steiner, James (Jennifer) Mendelson, Kathy (D. Stuart) Horne. Grandmother of Jeffrey & Scott Steiner, Jake & Zoe Horne. Sister of the late Raoul Solomon. Sister-in-law of Lois Solomon. Emily was the most loving and wonderful mother and grandmother, a devoted wife, a tireless volunteer, and extraordinarily selfless and generous. She enriched the lives of everyone she encountered. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Sunday at 2 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services (1 - 2 PM). Interment West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation.
