NEWMAN, ALISON (KINGLEY): Age 54, On Sunday December 18, 2016, beloved wife of Dr. Bernard D. Newman, loving mother of Sari and Alon Rothenberg of Indianapolis and Harrison A. Newman of Pittsburgh. Sister of Jay R. Kingley and Jodi A. Kingley, both of New Jersey. Daughter of the late Tela (Cohn) and Harry A. Kingley, of Connellsville, Pa. Daughter-in-law of Marilyn and Dr. Jerry Newman, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Alison was past President of the Adat Shalom Synagogue Sisterhood and was also known throughout the Fox Chapel area for her volunteer activities. For many years, Alison served as the manager of the children's books department at the Waterworks Barnes & Noble bookstore. Alison was also the beloved mom of Crosby, the dachshund, and a good friend to many. Services at Adat Shalom Synagogue, 368 Guys Run Road, Indiana Twp on Wednesday at 2:30 PM. Visitation one and one half hour prior to services at the synagogue (1 - 2:30 PM). Interment Ahavath Achim Cemetery/Forest Hills.
