BERNSTEIN, EDITH (CHAZMAN); Age 94, of Pittsburgh, born on January 14, 1923 passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Beloved wife of late David Bernstein. Loving mother of Gail (David) Rosenblatt and Terry (Steve) Erenrich. Grandmother of Gerri (Jason) Shanks, Jay Rosenblatt, Cheryl (Matt) Abbott, Melissa (Chris) Rossero and Barry (Carissa) Erenrich. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren ranging in ages from 2 - 16. Edith was the center of her family. She was a strong, selfless, amazing woman and a true friend to those that she knew. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Wednesday at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services (10 - 11 AM). Interment  Poale Zedeck Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. www.schugar.com 

Condolences

I just saw this and was so sad to read the news. She was an amazing woman whose warmth and kindness was always evident. Her kindness to both my parents will never be forgotten. All my memories of her are only good and bring a smile to my face.

So sorry to hear about GG. I am privileged that I got to meet her, she was an inspirational woman. We will miss getting cards from her, and sending them to her for her birthday and holidays. Love, Les and Bob
