SIMON, EVELYN "EVIE" (GELMAN): On Thursday, July 27, 2017. Beloved wife of H. Larry Simon for 61 1/2 years. Devoted mother of Cindy (Michael) Platto and Sam (Sharon) Simon. Daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Gelman. Sister of the late Betty (late Harry) Verbofsky and the late Melvin (late Nancy) Gelman. Super Bubbie to "her boys" Joshua and Zachary Platto and pal to Charlie. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Evie will be greatly missed by all that knew her and especially by her family. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Sunday at 12 Noon.
