SOFFER, VIOLET (GUSKY): On Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Soffer. Beloved mother of James Lee Soffer. Preceded in death by six brothers. Grandmother of Jasper Soffer. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Violet was raised in Braddock. She along with her late husband Joseph were real estate developers who founded and operated Soffer Organization. She contributed to many charitable organizations as well as local jewish charities. Violet spent many years between Pittsburgh and Boca Raton, FL. She was always known for her stylish attire with clothing and shoes. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Friday at 1 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services, (12 Noon - 1 PM). Interment Temple B'Nai Israel Cemetery, Versailles Boro.
