MCKENZIE, BEVERLY JAYNE: Age 82, of Upper Burrell Township, formerly of Churchill and Bethel Park, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, with her family at her side. Beloved wife of Jay S. McKenzie; daughter of the late Earl and C. Elizabeth (Herron) Hemphill; loving mother of Pamela A. (William) Swope and Randal S. (Christina) McKenzie; loving grandmother to Courtney Swope (Gary) Cannon and Julie A. Swope; great-grandmother to McKenzie Cannon. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Friday at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services (10 - 11 AM). Interment Private. Condolences

Jayne was my best friend since we first met at Bethel High in 1952. Through all these years we kept in close touch sharing laughs and sometimes tears. Jayne had a quick wit and always found a way to laugh and be positive. It was only two weeks ago that we talked on the phone chatting about our old friends at Bethel and of course about our families. I helped Jayne pick out her wedding suit and in my mind I will always remember her, happy, smiling, beautiful and ready for a new life with Jay. God's Blessings to Jayne and may He help her family through this sad, sad time. Marty
