I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Know that both of you are in my thoughts and prayers, Alan and Bert. I think about when we were little and my mother used to say all the time "Bobby, I'll give you a quarter if you speak Donald Duck." When Melissa died, one of my first thoughts was my dad sitting in the chair on Lilac Street rocking back and forth crying holding his head.I was so little and really didn't understand, When Melissa died one of my first thoughts was now I really understand how Arlene felt. The last time I saw Arlene she told me a story about my dad. She told me she had not gone for a long time after Bobby died and that she went to a party with Burt and my father greeted her when she came in and felt like a queen I hope I find the strength I saw In Arlene that day in myself..Melissa of course was named for Morty and she has 2 little girls, Ilana named for Irene and Michaela named for Morty.I live in Israel and news is sometimes late. All the best. LeahEdelblum
