I knew Howard from his years at the JCC Health Club. We joked and generally kibbitzed about sports and politics most weekdays. Howard was a genuinely nice person, and in today’s world that’s rare.
The world lost one of the good guys, and while I didn’t see him much these last number of years, I thought about him often and fondly.
Rest In Peace Howard

May you be comforted in this time of mourning and loss. Your Dad/Grandfather was very proud of each one of you and always had pictures and stories to share. He is absolutely irreplaceable and I am so grateful for the 7 years I got to know him. He was brave, loyal and kind and positively impacted so many lives in the short time I knew him. His memory will live on in those of us who got to know, work with and had the privilege of calling him friend. He hated to see injustice and was always up for a good fight. He was a fierce advocate who did not take no for an answer and always made time to lend a helping hand. Forward Shady knew if you needed something to ask Howard and he would either get if for you or get you to the right person. Two things I will miss most is his hearty laugh and encouraging words. Thank you for sharing your Dad/Grandfather with all of us, he will be dearly missed.
