EDWARD BERMAN: Beloved Edward Berman of Braddock Hills returned to the Lord our God peacefully on December 11, 2021. Ed was 91 years old, born September 8, 1930, growing up in the Hill District of Pittsburgh. Ed was married to his love, the late Frances Layfield Berman for 60 years who lovingly referred to him as Eddie, and is finally reunited in heaven with her dancing and singing as they used to do. Ed is survived by his three daughters Beth Anne Berman Seibel, Heather Marie Berman and Jennifer Lynn Berman Diaz, and his granddaughter Aurora Grace Diaz. His girls and wife Fran were everything to him. A kind and selfless man, he cared for family members, friends, neighbors, pets and his backyard menagerie of birds and wildlife. They all loved him dearly. Ed worked for 30 years at J&L Steel and was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who spoke often of his time spent on the U.S.S. Rochester CA 124 during the Korean War. My deepest sympathy to each of you. I always enjoyed talking to your dad and It was great when we reminisced about Heather and my sister playing softball. He made me laugh with some of the things he would say. Another Braddock Hills loss.
