ALAN K. ZEMON: Beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly in his own home on March 28, 2022. Born and raised in Carnegie, Alan learned at a young age from his father, the butcher business. He took the knowledge of the family business and had a lifelong career with Giant Eagle. After retiring for Giant Eagle he spent his time riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, rooting for the Steelers, and took comfort in his pet dogs over the years. Alan is remembered fondly as having a tough exterior and a soft heart. Preceded in death by his mother and father, Anne and Leonard Zemon. Survived by his brother, Harry Zemon; nieces, Roslyn McCaleb and Marci Zemon-Stowell (Patrick) and grandniece, Annabelle and grandnephews, Maximus and Bo. Friends may meet at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 11:45 AM and then proceed to New Light Cemetery for 1 PM Graveside Services.
