“I wrote your name in the sand, but the waves washed it away.
I wrote your name in the sky, but the wind blew it away.
So I wrote your name in my heart, and that’s where it will stay, always.”

I want to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family of Alan Beckerman. Our relationship dates back to Wightman School and Taylor Allderdice High School. I always had a lot of respect for Alan. He was a real mensch.
