JEFFREY LEE BALLON: Formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, residing in Greensburg, PA for the past several years, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Jeff attended Carnegie Mellon University. He later graduated with a bachelor's degree in science from the University of Pittsburgh, with a concentration in Mathematics. He was an avid sports fan, and he also had a great sense of humor. Jeff had a deep faith in God and a kind heart. Always willing to offer an encouraging word to everyone he met. Jeff was preceded in death by his beloved father Harry Morton Ballon and mother Lilyan Gould Ballon. He is survived by many cousins. Jeff will be deeply missed by the special friends who became like family to him, Sandy (Bud) Jones (Brandon, Maria, Mle), Jackie Warman, Sherry Serra (Zachary, Calista), the late Dominick (Surv. Margie) Lamanna, Clayton and Cookie. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11 AM. Visitation 1 hour prior to services (10 AM - 11 AM).
