 ELEANOR “CISSY” STONE: On Saturday, January 6, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Stone, a prominent Pittsburgh attorney. Loving mother of Harlan (Laura) Stone, Andrew (Christine) Stone, and Julie (Charles) Congdon. Sister of Betty Ann Fireman. Cherished grandmother of James Congdon (Jennifer), Alec Stone, Charlotte Stone, Sydney Congdon, Sophia Stone, and Lilia Stone and 3 great-grandchildren. Cissy was born in Pittsburgh in 1930. She spent many years living in Hilton Head, SC and Fort Lauderdale, FL before returning to her home in Pittsburgh. Cissy was an avid traveler, having visited numerous countries around the world. She enjoyed playing golf, entertaining friends and spending time with her family. Services at Rodef Shalom Temple, 4905 Fifth Avenue (at Morewood) on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services at Temple (10 AM – 11 AM). Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Sissy and Bob were wonderful and genuine friends. We met on strip to Israel for my 40 and Bob’s 50 birthdays. We then started to share manny happy and memorable years of friendship
