LIEBERMAN, SHIRLEY:On Thursday April 4, 2013, of Squirrel Hill, Beloved wife for 61 years of Sherman Lieberman; Beloved mother of Marvin (Susan), and Ronna. Beloved grandmother of Jeanne. Sister of the late Herbert Weiss. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She graciously gave her time and love to many.  She founded a program to teach medical transcription to the Blind and was a teacher for the Pittsburgh Public Schools. She loved the theater and was a long serving volunteer for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and the JCC. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Sunday at 1 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services (12 Noon - 1 PM). Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Condolences

My Aunt Shirley was a wonderful lady! There are not many people in the world that did the things she did! Always helping others in times of need. She was willing to help out people in anyway possible. I have many, many fond memories of my Aunt Shirley. Making me breakfast during a sleepover, taking care of my Grandmother and Aunt Sara during very difficult times. (This was not an easy job) But most of all, Just being there! I don't think she ever got or received all The "Thank You's " she deserved. She will really be missed!
