My most sincerest condolences to Diane's family. I met her through our fellowship in Staff Council, and from day one I admired her compassion and empathy for students and colleagues, as well as her tenacity in all the causes she championed. I will miss her very much.

Nat, & Family Carol & I were shocked to learn that Diane had passed. We were aware that she was fighting her illness, but it is just hard to accept that she’s gone. She was the very best friend to both of us. She will be sorely missed by all of us as she will be by you and your family. Although it seems now that we did not spend enough time together as we were living our lives and growing our families, we have very rich memories of Diane and all of the times we were together in the past. To us, as we picture her, her kindness and friendship are unforgettable. We are so sad today as we know you are as well. John Ritzu & Carol Crandall

I am so terribly sorry to hear this. Diane was a truly wonderful person. She was always caring and kind and I treasure that she came to my father’s shiva and seeing her at the Dice reunion. I was just in Pgh last week and was thinking about her. Will the funeral service be online? With love to Nat and the kids. Terri Schweitzer Barach
