 LAIDHOLD, ARLENE T. STADTLANDER: Age 69; On Tuesday, September 17, 2013; Beloved wife of Stephen Laidhold and the late Sidney Stadtlander. Loving mother of Greg Stadtlander, Cary Stadtlander, Elizabeth Stadtlander and Michael (Melissa) Stadtlander. Step-mother of Erik and Michael Laidhold. Sister of the late Joan Holtzman. Grandmother of Jake, Zach, Sam, Noah, Savannah and Shane Stadtlander. Step-grandmother  of Kai, Sophie, Jackson, Noah and Jacob Laidhold. Also survived by  nieces and  nephews. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Friday at 2 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services (1-2 PM). Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Condolences

Please add this short note to my previous one. I just took note of the actual date that Arlene passed on. Her soul decided to leave this world during the holidays thus shortening the period of mourning. She was always thinking of others and continued to do so even in leaving this world. Love, Ahuva

I will try to find the words to express my feelings. I found Arlene to be a compassionate, kind human being who always had the right words to say. I will NEVER forget the kind words she shared with me when my Ima passed into the next world. I never heard Arlene say anything that could be construed as negative even when negativity surrounded her. Although our paths crossed infrequently, I will miss her. May you be comforted in knowing how well she was thought of. With love and wonderful memories of Arlene, Ahuva
