DAVIS, SHIRLEE STEVENSON: Age 89, in Weston, FL, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014; Shirlee Stevenson Davis passed away peacefully. Beloved and devoted wife of 71 years with Jerome Davis who cared for her night and day lovingly to the end. Remarkable Mother with never ending love for her sons Alan, Mark, Richard and Howard and their wives, Melissa, Marie, Linda and Jean. Grandmother to Meagan and Jimmy Kantor, Adam and Hali Davis, Shannon and Brad Wurthman, Rachel and Nazim Arda, Lisa and Rory Falconer, Sarah and Jonathan Michaels, Emily Davis, Brad Davis, Joel and Laila Davis, Brian Davis and Alec Davis and Great Grandmother to Jack Alan Kantor and Rowan Falconer. Beloved sister to Anna Waldman, Janet Alpern, Rosella Nydes Labovitz, Beatty Mintz, Chickie Simon and their husbands all of whom are departed and her late beloved brother Sonny Stevenson and his wife Mary Ann Stevenson of Squirrel Hill. Her beloved sister in law Sylvia Caplan, 101, of Monroeville and late sisters in law Ruth Ellenbogen and Ethel Kirsch. Aunt to more than 25 nieces and nephews who send their love from across Pittsburgh and around the country. And cousins living and departed. A loving miracle worker/caregiver Latoya Graham who was "angel from heaven." So many friends across the years from Fifth Ave High School to the Pittsburgh Playhouse, to Churchill neighbors, to Hammil Quinlan Realtors to Temple Sisterhoods and Hadassah. And of course to all those friends in the Weston and Ft Lauderdale area. Shirlee shined on stage and off it. Making friends in an instant and for a lifetime. Her love for life and her family and friends will be missed forever. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Sunday at 11 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services, (10 - 11 AM). Interment Adath Israel Cemetery.
