SPITZ, SAM: On Monday, December 22, 2014; After a long and courageous battle. Beloved and cherished husband of Marcia Sokolow Spitz. Loving father of Randi (Anthony) Cost, Dayna Spitz (Christian Jensen). Devoted step-father of David Sokolow, Shari (Vince) Sacca, Jaison (Susan) Sokolow and Heather Sokolow. Brother of Stuart Spitz, Mimi Santee and the late Barbara Bonner. Adored Papa of Max and Eli Gelernter. Step-grandpa of Brandon and Andrew Sacca, Ari and Ethan Sokolow and Riley Sokolow. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 12 Noon. Visitation one hour prior to services (11 AM - 12 NOON). Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Stuart, It has been many years since you and I have seen each other, but you have been in my thoughts many times. I wish you and yours many more good healthy years. We are now in Bonita Springs FL. so we are unable to attend the funeral.
