LANDIS, DANIEL J.: On Tuesday, April 28, 2015; Beloved husband of Elizabeth A. Landis. Son of Hilda and Samuel  Landis. Brother of Richard  Landis, Sally  Gawler, Kimberly Landis and John Landis. Also survived by  nieces and nephews. Dan was in the Air Force as a Flight medic during Vietnam. He had an early career in Healthcare providing care to the elderly. For the past seventeen years he had a very successful Real Estate Career. He brought passion to everything he did. Services at Ralph Schugar Funeral Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services (1 - 2 PM). Interment Private. I will always remember Dan as a very caring and compassionate person. Always with a grin from ear to ear. He always made you feel very special. I will always remember that he was training my brother to sell real estate the same time Anne was training me at the hospital to do cat scans. When I think of Dan I think of an always smiling face. He made Anne happy and all of us who were in his presence. I think of a party at my house when we were taking a group picture and he made all of us smile at the same time. I worked with Dan in the nursing home industry. He was always fair and very easy to talk to. We still bring up his name as he will always be remembered,even though many years have passed My deepest sympathy to his family
