WEIN, SHIRLEY H.: Age 86, born July 3, 1928 in McKeesport, PA to the late Joseph and Laura Herskovitz. Shirley was the best friend and beloved wife of over 67 years to Albert Wein who is left to cherish her wonderful qualities. Survived by her children, Howard Wein and Susan Bails, Robert "Rocky" and Judy Wein, Dr. Richard and Judy Wein of South Bend, IN and Barbara Wein and George Portillo. Loving grandmother of Josh (Jessica), Jillian (Andy), Alex, Lindsay (Yehosha), Jacob, Rachel (Ben), Emily, Sam, Patricio, Amiel, Elisa and Jonas. Great-grandmother of Noa, Caleb, Chaim, Nissim, Maya and Beatrice. Sister of the late Pearl Weiss, Ethel Guttman, Helen Smuckler and Samuel Sabin. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Shirley and  Al shared many wonderful experiences as they traveled together throughout their lives. Shirley relished the holidays and special occasions when she could open her home to her family and friends and anyone who needed a place to share the holiday. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of Shirley's caregivers. As a lung cancer survivor she continued her traditional role as matriarch of her family. Services at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Thursday at 2 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services (1 - 2 PM). Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery.
