Dearest Loved Gail, Sharon, and your entire family: Gary and I have just read David's Obituary in the Post Gazette this evening (July 4th). We are so very deeply saddened beyond words for your beloved David. My father, Tom Klopack, your beloved employee for many years loved all of you and David and Arnold were like his brother and son. I know that all three of these fine men are together again in a better world. There is a beautiful poem that I would like to share with you: PERHAPS THEY ARE NOT THE STARS, BUT RATHER OPENINGS IN THE HEAVEN, WHERE THE LOVE OF OUR LOST ONES SHINES DOWN TO LET US KNOW THEY ARE WITH US AND HAPPY.
Gail, you and Sharon were a source of tremendous strength for our family, when my father passed on in 2010. We love you always, if there is anything we can do to lessen your loss, do not hesitate to contact us.

Gail, Sharon and family,
I have such fond memories of David in High School, USY, Pitt, and ALL of the times he was there for our family at our most difficult times. I know it was his job, but it was so comforting to be met at Schugar\'s by his smiling familiar face and I will always remember his patience, and his comfort during those times. I am so very very sorry for your loss - all of our loss - and please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was very shocked to hear about his passing. He was a very good friend to me since our Colfax days. I will always remember him with a smile on his face. We reconnected again on Facebook. He was taken too soon and will be missed, but forever remembered.

My deepest condolences to the Ryave family. Some of my best memories of David were from The Pirate Fantasy Camp more than 20 years ago. We had a blast that week in Bradenton. David could really play! Although I had not seen him much over the past several years, every time I look at pictures of Fantasy Camp it brings back a flood of great memories.
